The club offers river and reservoir fishing to everyone, irrespective of age
and ability. For a very reasonable charge, a good part of the Girvan river and
a large reservoir is available for you to fish. Salmon and Trout fishing is
available. The club is run by an enthusiastic bunch of volunteers.
As a result of some very hard work the disabled access platform is now OPEN !!

INFORMATION: ?
  • River opens on the 25th of February for salmon and sea trout.
  • Salmon season ends 31st October, Sea trout 7th October.
  • Our well-stocked reservoir is open all year round
  • For conservation purposes there is a mandatory twelve-inch limit on sea trout.    Also In October, all hen fish to be returned.
  • NO river fishing on a SUNDAY
  • Early morning fishing permits - Dunlops newsagents from 7a.m. onwards.

Annual Permits:  
£75-Adult £40-Senior £20-Junior
Day Permits:
Fly fishing Spinning and worming.
River Fishing £20.00 per Day :   River Fishing £60.00 per Week
Barbless Fly Only- 2 Fish Limit
Reservoir Fishing £12.00 per Day
£37.50 Joining fee for new adult member + Permit.
  Day permits can be bought from Wright's hardware and Dunlop's paper shop in Dalrymple street and Ultimate angler at Grangestone industrial estate
  FLY fishing lessons can be arranged, contact Ultimate angler or the people below.
